Robert B. Chesne, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Chesne received his B.A. degree from Northwestern University
in Chicago, IL. He remained at Northwestern to earn his medical degree,
and then successfully completed an internship at Los Angeles County
General Hospital. He completed residencies at Wood V.S. Hospital at
Marquette University as well as Los Angeles County Hospital. Dr. Chesne
belongs to the Society for Cardiac Angiography, American College of
Cardiology, American College of Chest Physicians, American Society
of Internal Medicine, American College of Physicians, and L.A.C.M.A.
He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and
the American Board of Cardiology. Dr. Chesne has taught medicine at
institutions including USC Medical Center and Daniel Freeman Memorial
Hospital in Southern California.
Dr. Hattori's medical career began in California at Stanford University
where he earned a B.S. in Chemistry. He then received his medical
degree from UCLA School of Medicine, serving his internship and completing
his residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles. Dr. Hattori
then completed a fellowship in cardiology at Cedars-Sinai. He is a
member of the American College of Cardiology, Society for Cardiac
Angiography and Interventions, and the American College of Physicians
as well as the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He holds
board certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine,
the American Board of Internal Medicine: Cardiovascular Diseases and
the American Board of Internal Medicine: Interventional Cardiology.
Dr. Weiss received both his undergraduate and medical degree from
McGill University in Montreal, Canada. He then completed an internship
at The Royal Victoria Hospital in Montreal as well as medical residencies
at both St. Michael's Hospital in Toronto and Toronto General Hospital.
Dr. Weiss then completed a cardiology fellowship at Cedars-Sinai Medical
Center in Los Angeles. He has been an active member in medical societies
such as American College of Cardiology, American Heart Association,
Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions, American College
of Chest Physicians and American College of Angiology, as well as
the Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography. He holds board
certifications from the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American
Board of Internal Medicine: Cardiovascular Diseases and the American
Board of Internal Medicine: Interventional Cardiology.
Jack J. Farahi, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Farahi studied first at the University of Nevada in Reno where
he was on the Honor Role and Dean's List, and then at the University
of California at Los Angeles' Honor Division where he received his
undergraduate degree. He proceeded to work on his medical degree at
Brown University in Providence, Rhode Island, then completing it at
the University of Southern California in Los Angeles. Dr. Farahi won
"Outstanding Intern of the Year" at Wadsworth VA Medical Center in
Los Angeles during his internship, which is also where he completed
his residency and fellowship with a concentration in Internal Medicine
and Cardiology respectively. He has been an active member in Medical
Societies such as the Society for Cardiac Angiography and Interventions,
Society of Cardiovascular Computed Tomography, as well as the American
Society of Nuclear Cardiology. He holds board certifications from
the American Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Internal
Medicine: Cardiovascular Diseases and the Certification Board of Nuclear
Cardiology.
Robin N. Stan, M.D., F.A.C.C.
Dr. Stan graduated with a B.A. in Biology from California State University
at Northridge, and then earned his medical degree from the Medical
College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee. He went on to intern at the Medical
College of Wisconsin, where he also completed his residency. After
successfully completing a Cardiology Fellowship at the Mount Sinai
Medical Center in Miami Beach, FL., Dr. Stan moved to Southern California
and has been practicing medicine here ever since. He has been an active
member of the American College of Cardiology and the American Society
of Nuclear Cardiology. He holds board certifications from the American
Board of Internal Medicine, the American Board of Internal Medicine:
Cardiovascular Diseases and the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology.
Eric Chew, PA-C, RNP is a full-time healthcare practitioner working with Apex Cardiology Consultants in Inglewood, California since 2001 and prior was in Los Angeles, California working in cardiovascular practice, as well. He received his Bachelor of Science in Physician Assistant practice from the University of Southern California's Primary Care P.A. Program with high honors in 1996. He has specialized in cardiovascular diseases and has become an expert in the management of both chronic and acute decompensated heart failure. Before becoming a P.A., he had been a cardiovascular surgical, critical care R.N. graduating from Pasadena City College. Eric is a leader in several areas of his life. He is involved with the USC P.A. preceptorship program through Apex Cardiology for Physician Assistant students and has been teaching cardiovascular entities and clinical skills for more than 13 years. Since 1996, he has taught at the USC/Keck School of Medicine and Riverside Community Primary Care Physician Assistant Program. He has been part of the teaching faculty for the National Board Review at USC and has given several lectures both at the local and on the national level regarding cardiovascular illnesses including chronic and acute decompensated heart failure, sudden cardiac death, implantable cardiac defibrillators and cardiac resynchronization therapy. He runs a monthly journal club for mid level health care practitioners to help support continuing education for all those involved.

Bobby Towery, R.N., P.A.-C.
Bobby Towery is a physician assistant who attended Cal State Los Angeles studying biology. He continued his studies getting his nursing degree at LA County/USC Medical Center and attended the Physician Assistant Program at the University of Southern California graduating with honors in 1997. Training and certificates include Basic and Advanced Cardiac Life Support, Critical Care Transport and Advanced Trauma Life Support Training. Professional experience includes Critical Care, Cardiology, Cardiology Research and Electrophysiology as a Physician Assistant. He's held consulting positions in Hospital Cardiovascular Operations.
